Intercountry Adoptee Voices (ICAV)
Facebook Group (Private)
Facebook group for transracial, intercountry, cross cultural adoptees only.
ICAV is a worldwide informal network of adult adoptee led organisations (formal and informal) specific to intercountry adoption. ICAV is a platform that facilitates bringing many of these groups (and individuals) together in one space, regardless of birth or adoptive country. We aim to share information for things which fellow adoptees can assist in. Example: searching for family, returning to homeland, advocating for our adoptee rights.
We wish to empower adoptees and biological families to speak out about ica impacts; to push for our rights to be acknowledged, and to include us in policy discussions / decisions.
