Adoptee Rights Australia
Adoptee Rights Australia is established by adopted persons to give a national voice to their lived experience of adoption in Australia.
Adoptee Rights Australia aims to be the peak body to advocate for reform in adoption legislation, policy and services in all Government jurisdictions in Australia, because the human rights and wellbeing of adopted persons should be restored, protected and promoted.
We seek to raise public awareness of, and support for, reform of adoption legislation, policy, and services across Australia.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where I/we work and live, the (people) of the (nation) and pay my/our respects to Elders past and present. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
